The action takes place under a big top, in a circus that’s halfway between yesterday and tomorrow. The eleven performers—circus artists and musicians—present a variety of bodies reminiscent of the imagery of Fellini or Pedro Almodóvar, in a sort of carnivalesque bestiary: a bird-woman obsessed with taking flight, a priestess in poetic ecstasy, the story of a far-fetched love affair, a half-man, half-horse hybrid, a boss who loses control, a machine-instrumentalist with a feline air… %C0 On the edge of the wild, they all explore the boundaries of their humanity and the permeability of species.
