The ‘Destination Pays Coeur d'Herault’ offers 10 cycling routes of varying  distance and level of difficulty. These include several Classified Sites to discover:

- Saint Guilhem le Désert and the Gorges of the Hérault

- The Salagou Valley and the Cirque de Mourèze

- The Cirque de Navacelles

There are also circuits through the valley’s vineyards and olive groves or through Southern Larzac – all offering many opportunities to discover the treasures of local heritage.

The Hérault Valley offers large spaces and a feast of thrilling experiences. Here, you can mountain bike the whole year round.  Between mediterranean mountains, the fragrant scrublands and the famous hillside vineyards. The Espace VTT Vallée de l’Hérault (mountain bike section of the Tourist Office) provides 7 well-marked mountain bike circuits which will help you discover our local heritage and our most beautiful countryside.

Various levels of difficulty are available, with routes that range from 6 to 28 kilometres.  Area maps are available from Tourist Offices at €5, along with individual route maps, topographical guides and bike repair equipment.
