In the heart of the Languedoc, on the doorstep of the Hérault valley, between Aniane and the Pont du Diable (Devil’s bridge), the Maison du Grand Site welcomes you to "Gorges of the 'Herault" classified site.

From the 400 space parking area, a free shuttle is laid on in summer between the Maison du Grand Site and the Pont du Diable and Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert.

There are 2 stops on route: The Pont du Diable and the Grotte de Clamouse.

Whilst here, visit the Tourist Office Reception and the cultural shop where you will find fine examples of local crafts and produce, open from April till November.

The Espace d'interprétation (information centre) will help you discover the richness and beautiful of our region.

The Mas des Agriculteurs (Local producers shop) offers the very best gastronomic produce of the Hérault Valley: olive oil, tapenade, Lucque olives, honey...

Maison du Grand Site 2

The vinothèque (wine reference shop) enables you to savour remarkable wines of the Hérault Valley, from the Larzac terraces or Languedoc hillsides.

The Brasserie du pont du Diable provides tasty cuisine made with local seasonal products.

There is parking motor-homes available all year round at the Maison du Grand Site which is just a short walk away from the magnificent  Pont du Diable.

During the high season, you can bathe on the Pont du Diable beach (supervised in July and August) or travel through the Hérault Gorges by canoe.

 Maison du Site opening hours:

April, May, June, September and October: 10.30am to 6 pm
July and August: 10.00 am to 7.30 pm.

Departure every 30 minutes from 11 am to 7 pm. 


MAY – JUNE – SEPTEMBER:

Every weekend and holiday, from 11am to 7pm every 30 minutes.


JULY and AUGUST:

Runs from Saturday 1 July to Friday 7 July 2023 inclusive.
Departure every 30 minutes from 11 am to 7 pm.

Runs from Saturday 8 July to Sunday 3 September 2023.
Departure every 15 minutes from 10am to 9pm and every 30 minutes from 20h45 to 11pm.


OCTOBER to MARCH:
No shuttles
