Domaine des Grécaux produced its first vintage in 1999. The estate, established across the Languedoc AOP appellations "Terrasses du Larzac" and "Montpeyroux" and with a vinification cellar in the village of Saint-Jean-de-Fos, produces fine wines with ageing potential.
On a small 6 ha estate, the blocks rest in a unique range of terroirs from the limestone plateaux of Montpeyroux to the ancient terraces overlooking Aniane.
The Montpeyroux vineyards benefit from cool night breezes blowing in from the nearby 700 m-high Larzac plateau.
All of the estate's vineyards are grown as naturally as possible, without synthetic fungicides or herbicides. The focus is on respecting the environment and tillage.
